Registration Instructions

Eligibility:
The contest is open to logged in subscribers of The Straits Times (ST) aged 16 to 25 at the time of registration. For participants under 18, please download the parental consent form here and upload the signed parental consent form below.
Note: All current Polytechnic, ITE and Pre-University students are entitled to a ST subscription account. To participate, activate your account here, log into ST and submit your design using your student email address.
Personal Information:
Please provide your personal details that match the ST account holder’s information. Please note that the participating ST account must be registered under your own name and email address.
Design Template:
- Download the sneaker design template here.
- Complete your design using the provided template.
Submission:
- Upload your completed sneaker design template (<3MB file size) and parental consent form (if applicable) below. Only one submission is allowed per account.
- Submission Deadline: January 24, 2025

What is next?

Judging phase (January 25 to 31, 2025)
A panel of judges, including representatives from Sneaker Con and SPH Media, will evaluate the entries and select the top 20 finalists. More information will be communicated to the top 20 finalists accordingly.
Public voting phase (February 1 to 9, 2025)
Public voting for the top 20 designs will be open to all ST subscribers. A combination of voting score and judges’ score will be used to select the three winners.
Announcement of winners (February 23, 2025)
The three winners will be announced at Sneaker Con SEA on February 23, 2025.
- 1st place: Cash prize of $3,000 + a pair of Limited Edition sneakers*
- 2nd place: Cash prize of $2,000 + a pair of Limited Edition sneakers*
- 3rd place: Cash prize of $1,000 + a pair of Limited Edition sneakers*
- 7 Consolation prizes: Sneaker vouchers and exclusive merchandise (worth up to $200)

*Exact model will be determined at the sole discretion of the Sneaker Con committee
